🏃♂️ Community Partnerships in Action
This month has been filled with incredible partnerships that showcase the strong bonds between Peace Dale Elementary and our community. We were thrilled to welcome URI student-athletes who brought energy and inspiration to our halls, sharing valuable lessons about perseverance and teamwork while demonstrating the perfect balance of academics and athletics.
The URI connection continued as pharmacy students visited our first graders, teaching them important lessons about safety through an engaging and memorable presentation - complete with a catchy jingle that's still echoing through our corridors! These visits from URI remind us how fortunate we are to have such a world-class institution as our neighbor.
The spirit of community support didn't stop there. South County Quilters demonstrated their dedication to education by crafting 23 beautiful lap quilts for our 2024/25 PALS Reading program participants. Along with a generous donation from the Rotary Club, these contributions remind us that Peace Dale Elementary thrives thanks to the incredible support of our local community partners.
